And cameras are not usually designed for specialist situations. It is true that additional equipment can be used to modify your camera or its uses. In fact, one difference between high end cameras and cheap models is that high end designs allow interchangeable lenses and other accessories. Consider :

What camera settings are you always changing?
Do you have to search for a particular adjustment, taking your eye off the viewfinder? Do you find that using the camera is second nature?
